CandyLand is not a mainstream festival; it is built on the hard work and love of its participants, as well as team work. When you volunteer, your entire team is relying on you to help make the event run smoothly for everyone. As a volunteer, we rely on YOU to follow through with your commitment. Like completing your shift, alert and sober (enough), for example. If you arrive late, don’t show up at all, or are too intoxicated (from substances or lack of sleep) to be a benefit, you are letting your friends down.

This year, same as for 2022 CandyLand, we are having volunteers purchase tickets and then get reimbursed after shifts have been completed. 

YOU MUST PURCHASE A TICKET TO VOLUNTEER

(You Get Refunded After You Successfully Show Up For Your Shift)

• 1 shift - 50% off ticket price (parking pass not included)

• 2 shifts - 100% off ticket price (parking pass not included)

• 3 shifts - 100% off ticket price + free parking pass + weekend meal pass

• Crew Badge

• Early Entrance

• Setup Camp Early On Thursday

• Crew Zone Camping

• All Reimbursements Provided After The Event

All shifts during the event are 4 hours and typically have 2 volunteer positions per timeslot. We encourage having friends volunteer together. The shifts are first come first serve so sign up early. If you have questions email candyland808hi@gmail.com.

Expectations:

• Check-in 15 minutes before your shift at the PARKING CHECKPOINT.

• If you cannot make your shift, let your shift-lead (or the volunteer coordinator) know ASAP. 

• If you miss a shift with no communication you will forfeit the benefits and reimbursements.
